The word Saipua is derived from the Finnish word for soap.   We feel lucky to have found this small family operation that takes great pride in the process and method of production of soaps.  Saipua has been making olive oil based soap since 1999. Their soaps are carefully crafted in small batches using food-grade vegetable oils, butters, herbs and extracts. Each bar is hand cut, air dried and cured in their workshop.
